SILKATHERM Exhaust Coating

Now that I have a 462 engined machine that will spend a fair bit of time outdoors I thought I would have my exhaust coated. I saw the ad in Microlight Flyer (copied below) and gave Silkatherm a ring.

From the outset I cannot fault the service, both on the phone and later when I met them the Silkatherm folks wanted to help. As microlighters themselves they know what we want and they want to supply it. I dropped off my exhaust at their base near Hinkley in Leics and picked it up a week later. The difference is amazing. these two photos show the before and after in real terms.

The photos are not retouched, it really is that different!! So, If you are in the market for a coating for your exhaust, give them a call, tell them I sent you..
